In a recent report, research carried out by Historic Scotland has found that the majority of pre 1919 traditional properties are in need of urgent repair.
According to the government agency, 75% of the nations 455,000 traditional dwellings show disrepair to critical elements such as roofing and external walls and 53% need urgent attention. (Project Scotland, Dec 2012)
