new barn — The process for this particular conversion involved:
Stone cleaning; the original sandstone/whinstone was sandblasted in order to clean off the paint and restore to its original finish.

Badly worn stones were then removed and replaced with new stone.
The freshly faced stones were then repointed with lime mortar.

The result was a fully renovated barn with stonework back to its former glory.
